Sentinels stand guard looking for the enemy, often at points
of passage, points of importance. The sentinel on guard
throughout the night has limited vision, making his work
even more perilous and difficult. He stands in constant
strain. Dawn comes as a sweet relief from his labors, from
darkness and limited vision.
Lord, bring your dawn of light and clarity of heart.
